Well, some of the wonderful art on this site has inspired me and I'm now learning to draw. I've always been interested in learning but like a lot of people, thought drawing was just for the "gifted". Now I know that as long as you take the time and have the desire to learn, you can accomplish great things so I bought some art supplies, some good graphite pencils and sketch pads and I'm giving it a go!
I found a wonderful site full of drawing lessons, written by an artist and laid out wonderfully. I'm just starting out so I'm not any good yet, but I'm encouraged and excited, and have more confidence in the belief that I can do it than I've ever had.
